Job summary

Cloudxtreme in Mumbai is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate builds, and troubleshoot deployments on Linux servers running Tomcat/WebLogic.

You will work hands-on with Bitbucket, Git, Maven, SonarQube, load balancers, and SSL/TLS certificate management, plus scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering and strong communication skills complete the profile; this role is based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Setup CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Schedule automated builds and deployments; support AD team requests.
• Hands-on knowledge of Bitbucket and Git workflows.
• Unix command proficiency for day-to-day ops.
• Shell scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues.
• Coordinate with AD team for build requests and deployments.
• Monitor and optimize Tomcat/WebLogic/Apache stack.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and security configurations.

Core skillsets:

• Setup CI/CD pipeline to achieve fully automated CI/CD process.


• Troubleshoot and rectify build pipeline issues.


• Schedule automated build and deployment and execute ad-hoc build request by AD team


• Hands-on knowledge of Bit-bucket, GIT commands and branching strategies.


• Knowledge of Unix commands required for day to day operations and troubleshooting.


• Scripting knowledge for automation.

Other essential skillsets:

• Knowledge of webapps (weblogic, Tomcat, Apache , IBM HTTP etc) and their troubleshooting.


• Working knowledge of schedulers ( control M, Autosys etc).


• SSL/TLS certificate management.

Desired skillsets:

• Basic DB connection and Query execution knowledge


• Knowledge of Monitoring tools (Geneos, Tivoli etc).


• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field with previous experience as DevOps Engineer
