Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience planning and executing OS patching cycles for Windows/Linux.
• 3+ years writing scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• 2+ years of Kubernetes experience with workload administration and monitoring.
• 2+ years hands-on Terraform experience.
• 12+ years of dedicated DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain core services across AWS and Azure.
• Write, maintain, and deploy Terraform modules for automated provisioning.

Job Summary:-

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join the infrastructure team for our international client. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, automating, and maintaining multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure), managing containerized workloads in Kubernetes, and maintaining system reliability across Linux and Windows server fleets.

The ideal candidate bridges traditional system administration with modern DevOps practices, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), scripting, and cutting-edge AI tools to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Multi-Cloud Administration: Provision, configure, and maintain core services across both AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write, maintain, and deploy reusable Terraform modules for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• System Administration & Patching: Oversee day-to-day operations for both Windows and Linux environments, including ongoing OS patching and maintenance processes.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate operational workflows, repetitive tasks, and system maintenance.
• Incident Response & Monitoring: Participate in system health monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and on-call incident response to ensure maximum system uptime.
• AI-Assisted Engineering: Actively leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) in daily workflows to accelerate scripting, debugging, and operational tasks.

Technical Requirements:-

Minimum / Required Experience:

• Multi-Cloud Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with either AWS or Azure platforms, demonstrating deep proficiency across core cloud services.
• Patching Management: Proven experience planning and executing OS patching cycles for Windows and Linux environments.
• Scripting & Automation: 3+ years of experience writing scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for operational automation.
• Kubernetes: 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, including workload administration, container management, log retrieval, and system monitoring.
• Infrastructure as Code: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform.
• DevOps Practice: 12 years of dedicated DevOps experience.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:-

Experience designing, configuring, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
