Job summary

HCLSoftware in India is seeking a CloudOps & DevOps Engineer to own cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability practices, collaborating with development and security teams.

You will provision and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm charts.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in a DevOps, CloudOps, or SRE role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes; Helm chart management.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with observability tools and GitOps practices.

We are hiring a CloudOps & DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure and drive automation across the SDLC. You will own cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability practices, working closely with development and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE); develop, package, and maintain Helm charts for application deployments.
• Monitor system health and costs; implement alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Automate operational tasks using Python or Bash scripting.
• Ensure cloud security best practices—IAM, secrets management, compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response and post-mortems.

Requirements

• 7–10 years in a DevOps, CloudOps, or SRE role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes; hands-on experience writing and managing Helm charts including templating, values overrides, and chart repositories.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Familiarity with observability tools and GitOps practices.
• Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
