Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer in India to design and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform, while building robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Harness. You will manage GCP and AWS resources, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, and implement monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and OTEL.

Hybrid work arrangement combines virtual and on-site collaboration. You should have 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, scripting skills (Python, Bash), and a solid grasp

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
• Proficiency with Terraform, including module development, remote state management, and best practices.
• Experience with Jenkins/Harness , plugin management, and integration with version control systems (Git).
• Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services/ AWS cloud and architecture.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL).
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud governance.

Team Overview

1. Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available solutions in GCP,AWS
2. Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Harness, ensuring smooth and reliable application deployments.

7. Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in cloud infrastructure.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Knowledge of other CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Harness) is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Experience on working with Kafka, Nifi, Opensearch would be an added advantage.
