Job summary

Higlobe, Inc. is seeking a motivated Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience to design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and platform teams to build resilient systems.

The ideal candidate excels in IaC, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and cost optimization, with strong scripting skills and a passion for secure, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Production Kubernetes experience (EKS/AKS).
• Solid CI/CD principles and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker.
• Networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or Shell).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure Pipelines.

• Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Apply cloud security best practices (IAM, networking, secrets management).
• Participate in cost optimization initiatives (FinOps practices).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment velocity and reliability.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure environments.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and building scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud systems.

You will work closely with engineering, security, and platform teams to build resilient infrastructure and improve automation, observability, and deployment processes.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and DevOps practices
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or Shell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS, SNS)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Exposure to FinOps / cloud cost optimization strategies
• Experience in high-availability, multi-region architectures
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.)
• Experience with security scanning and DevSecOps practices
