Job summary

Tech Mahindra in India is seeking a DevOps GitHub Engineer with 7–10 years of experience for roles based in Hyderabad, Bangalore or Gurgaon. Immediate notice is required and the position involves supporting CI/CD, GitHub Actions and cloud platforms.

Candidate will work on ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management; familiarity with AWS/GCP and Kubernetes; scripting and automation, monitoring, and rollout of deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or IT support role
• Good knowledge of Cloud tools & platforms like AWS, GCP, Kubernetes
• Good understanding of ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Good knowledge of DevOps tools (GitHub, Artifactory) and concepts (CI/CD, version control, automation)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and escalation paths
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/Level 2 support for DevOps and infrastructure related issues
• Monitor system performance, availability, and alerts across environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities w.r.t GitHub, Artifactory
• Assist in incident, problem, and change management following ITIL processes
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and elevate when required
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
• Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments
• Participate in on call or shift support as required
