Job summary

Team Geek Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support production readiness and go-live activities for our platform. The role focuses on Azure DevOps, GCP platform engineering, CI/CD automation, Terraform, Kubernetes, and operational readiness to ensure reliable deployments.

Candidate should have at least 6 years of relevant experience; this role requires hybrid work and an in-person interview.

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience in DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and Kubernetes.
Proficient in Terraform-based IaC and CI/CD automation.
Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for pipeline automation.
Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk) and production support.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Support GCP infrastructure and deployment activities.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Manage Kubernetes/GKE environments and container deployments.
Drive production readiness, release management, and operational support activities.
Enhance monitoring, automation, resilience, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot deployment and production issues and ensure timely resolution.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support production readiness and go-live activities for our platform. The role will focus on Azure DevOps, GCP platform engineering, CI/CD automation, Terraform, Kubernetes, and operational readiness to ensure successful and reliable production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines .
Support GCP infrastructure and deployment activities.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Manage Kubernetes/GKE environments and container deployments.
Drive production readiness, release management, and operational support activities.
Enhance monitoring, automation, resilience, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot deployment and production issues and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with Engineering, Run, Security, Cloud, and Platform teams .
Follow DevOps best practices for automation, scalability, reliability, and security.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Good experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and GKE is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker .
Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation .
Good scripting knowledge in Python and/or Shell .
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or equivalent .
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing GKE/Kubernetes production environments .
Experience in production readiness and go-live activities.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with cross-functional Cloud, Security, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Strong understanding of DevOps, cloud security, automation, and operational best practices.
