Job summary

Farmioc in Hyderabad, Telangana, India seeks a DevOps Engineer to build and operate the infrastructure powering its data-driven products. You will own CI/CD pipelines and production environments, collaborating with engineering and product teams to boost reliability, observability, security, and cost efficiency across hosted services.

This onsite role requires 3–5 years of DevOps/SRE experience, strong Linux, Docker, cloud knowledge, and expertise in monitoring, secrets management, and IaC

• Hands-on with modern cloud or managed hosting platforms.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and production support experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help build and operate the infrastructure, deployment workflows, and production systems that power Farmioc's products.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams to improve deployment automation, system reliability, observability, security, and operational efficiency across our managed hosting and supporting infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain production infrastructure for Farmioc's web applications, data services, and AI-powered products.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, deployments, and releases.
• Manage development, preview, staging, and production environments.
• Run and monitor scheduled data ingestion jobs and background workloads.
• Manage Docker-based application deployments and supporting services.
• Configure and maintain databases, storage, application services, and related infrastructure.
• Optimize caching, asset delivery, and edge configuration to improve application performance, including for low-bandwidth users.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across production systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and availability issues and drive improvements in reliability and operational efficiency.
• Manage access control, secrets, API tokens, and environment isolation across hosting, databases, and third-party services.
• Monitor infrastructure usage and optimize hosting and operational costs.
• Support backup, recovery, incident response, and operational runbooks for critical services.

What You Will Have

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud or managed hosting platforms.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and experience supporting production systems.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and TLS.
• Experience working with databases, storage, and managed infrastructure services.
• Understanding of access control, secrets management, environment isolation, and secure deployment practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production observability.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Render and Vercel.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or Render Blueprints.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience deploying FastAPI, Node.js, React, or Next.js applications.
• Experience managing scheduled data processing and ingestion workloads.
• Experience with hosting and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Experience with production incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Experience supporting data-intensive, analytics, or AI-powered applications.
