Job summary

Recro is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to own and enhance our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will build resilient CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, deploy and monitor apps, and harden security and backups as we scale.

You will collaborate with backend teams to improve deployment workflows, automate provisioning, and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced startup environment in Delhi, India. Knowledge of Linux, scripting, and container tech is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role.
• Good Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building or maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, backups and monitoring.
• Basic scripting with Bash or Python.
• Good understanding of Git and modern workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup.

Good to have:

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) or other container orchestration platforms.
• We're planning to migrate parts of our platform to Kubernetes, so prior exposure is a plus.
• Experience configuring or managing Grafana and Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of security best practices, IAM, and secrets management.
