Job summary

Automation Anywhere is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the team in Bangalore (onsite). You will oversee CI/CD pipelines, build/release management, and cloud deployments across AWS/GCP/Azure, ensuring scalable, secure infrastructure and reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in DevOps or SRE, hands-on Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and strong scripting skills. You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to improve delivery speed and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infra engineering.
• Proficient with CI/CD tooling and scripting.
• Experience with IaC, cloud platforms, container orchestration, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team, setting clear goals, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily DevOps operations including build/release management, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and infrastructure reliability.
• Drive technical decisions and provide guidance on tooling, automation strategies, and architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to prioritize work, align objectives, and ensure seamless deployments.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to reduce manual work and improve delivery speed.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and security are considered in all DevOps solutions.
• Monitor and improve infrastructure reliability, alerting, and observability.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps and promote a high-energy, accountable, and collaborative team culture.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Proven expertise in: CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins Scripting (e.g., bash, and Python)
• Strong experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Proficiency in containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Cockroach DB) and managing database CI/CD and configuration tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Kloudfuse, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
• Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business needs.
• Passionate, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about DevOps practices and modern infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced product or platform engineering environment.
• Exposure to security, compliance, and audit requirements in CI/CD and infrastructure.
• Cloud or Kubernetes-related certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA).
• Experience integrating DevOps practices into SDLC and cross-functional workflows.
