Job summary

BuildKartX seeks a DevOps Engineer to keep the cloud platform fast, secure, and scalable. You will own deployments on Vercel and Supabase, run CI/CD pipelines with tests, and implement monitoring, alerts and incident response.

We expect 2–5 years of production web apps in the cloud, experience with Vercel/AWS/GCP, Linux, Git, and scripting in Bash, JavaScript or Python. BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of production web apps experience in the cloud.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS or GCP), Linux, Git.
• Experience with Postgres and backups; Supabase is a plus.
• Scripting in Bash, JavaScript or Python.

Keep the BuildKartX website, dealer portal and admin tools fast, secure and always up, and make shipping new releases quick and safe.

What you will do

• Own deployments on Vercel and Supabase: environments, preview builds, database migrations and rollbacks.
• Build and run CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and checks on every release.
• Set up monitoring, logs and alerts, and respond quickly when something breaks.
• Keep the platform secure: access control, secrets, backups, row-level security and dependency updates.
• Track hosting costs and performance, and keep the site fast on low-end phones and slow mobile data.

What we look for

• 2 to 5 years running production web apps in the cloud, with CI/CD and monitoring.
• Hands-on with a cloud platform (Vercel, AWS or GCP), Linux, Git and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Comfortable with Postgres, backups and database migrations; Supabase is a plus.
• Can script in Bash, JavaScript or Python.
• Has run a production app and handled real outages.
• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equal skill.
