Job summary

BCE Global Tech in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced DevOps Platform Engineer to drive modern, secure CI/CD pipelines across enterprise environments. You will design, implement and optimize pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and lead automation initiatives to accelerate delivery.

You will work with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes, aligning with cross-functional teams to modernise platforms and improve reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, pipeline design and runner management.
• Experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Automation across build, test, deployment and provisioning; Docker/Kubernetes experience.
• Security-focused with SonarQube, SAST/DAST, and policy-as-code awareness.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, pipeline design, optimisation, and runner management.
• Experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong automation experience across build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and containerised deployments.
• Experience integrating SonarQube, SAST, SCA, dependency scanning, and security gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in at least two of: Python, Bash, Groovy, PowerShell.
• Expertise in Git-based workflows, branching strategies, code reviews, and release management.
• Proven experience modernising legacy DevOps platforms and implementing standardised, reusable CI/CD frameworks.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo, AI-based test/documentation generation).
• DevSecOps expertise including Policy-as-Code, SBOM, SLSA, artefact signing, and shift-left security practices.
• Observability and monitoring experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry.
• Mobile DevOps experience including Fastlane, iOS/Android CI/CD, code signing, and App Store deployments.
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), Backstage portals, and self-service developer tooling.
• Knowledge of GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux) and progressive delivery (Argo Rollouts, Flagger).
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or GitLab-related certifications preferred.
