Job summary

GSPANN Technologies Inc in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced DevOps Director to lead our DevOps strategy, driving automation, CI/CD, and reliability while aligning with business goals. This role requires a blend of technical depth and business acumen, including P&L management, presales, project management, and performance management.

You will design scalable architectures, enable cloud-native and hybrid deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP, and mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
• Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer meetings, RFP responses, and technical presentations.

• Build and lead a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Set and monitor KPIs for DevOps engineers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Manage and optimize budgets for DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through automation, cloud optimization, and vendor negotiations.
• Track and analyse financial performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide financial insights to executive leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Integrate testing, security, and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
• Architect containerized applications using Docker or Podman.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.

• Integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
