Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a seasoned DevOps engineer to architect and migrate on-premise infra to the public cloud. The role emphasizes AWS-native deployments, end-to-end toolchains, and collaboration with developers to deliver scalable solutions.

The candidate should be proficient with Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring via Grafana/Prometheus. Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and configuration tools is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Migrating on-prem infra to public cloud.
• Monitoring and Securing the Infra 24/7.
• Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support.
• Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Job description

Must have of this role (immediate mid of Oct 2025). Location: Offshore, India. City (any): Mumbai / Pune / Nagpur / Hyderabad / Bangalore.

Detailed JD:

AWS certification, 7 - 9 yrs experience (as long, this is a relevant experience)

Well-experienced Cloud architect who has designed AWS-native applications.

Is aware of various cloud services, and has experience in migrating apps to cloud infra.

Must have working experience on Migration from on-prem to cloud.

Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure on AWS or Azure end to end and maintaining it.

Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers

Should hold expertise on setting up CI/CD pipeline on any public cloud.

Must have working knowledge Git/Github, Sonarqube, Nexus etc.

Observability: Working knowledge on setting up monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus, Kibana etc.

Must have working experience on Terraform or CloudFormation along with Ansible, chef or puppet (Anyone)

Must be good at analyzing and debugging prod issues.
