Job summary

Sapwood Ventures seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead migration of on-prem and self-managed clouds to AWS, with strong Azure background. The role is hybrid, based in Noida/Ahmedabad, requiring 7+ years of experience and hands-on cloud engineering.

You will design IaC with Terraform, build CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines, manage Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and ECS/Fargate, and implement monitoring, security controls, and toil reduction while collaborating with development teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Proven experience migrating on-prem workloads to cloud environments.
• Deep AWS hands-on expertise with Azure migration context.
• Production Terraform at scale for infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• ECS/Fargate container orchestration and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Strong Python or Bash scripting skills; security-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Work Mode: Hybrid | 2 - 3 days working from office per week

About the Role:

The role invoives Migrating to AWS from on-premises or self-managed cloud servers in Azure. So we need seasoned DevOps Engineer who have experience in such migrations or have the maturity to handle such projects.

Key Resonsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end Azure -> AWS Cloud Migration
