Job summary

Capgemini is hiring a DevOps Architect in Pune to design and govern enterprise Platform Engineering capabilities across major cloud providers. This hands-on role focuses on accelerating cloud adoption, standardizing deployments, improving reliability, and enabling self-service infrastructure for enterprise-scale delivery.

You will own the technical direction for the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), define engineering standards, and drive the shift toward GitOps, DevSecOps, and SRE practices

Qualifications

• Cloud platforms: hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise DevOps and Platform Engineering roadmap for the organization.
• Establish IDP vision, architecture, adoption model, and governance.
• Define engineering standards, reference architectures, and automation strategy.
• Design reusable, multi-tenant CI/CD frameworks and pipeline templates.
• Establish GitOps operating model, including repo strategy and environment management.
• Build self-service deployment and infrastructure provisioning for product teams.
• Define the observability architecture across metrics/logs/traces/alerts.
• Drive SRE adoption including SLI/SLOs, incident response, and reliability.

We are hiring a DevOps Architect to design and govern enterprise Platform Engineering capabilities across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This is a hands‑on architecture role focused on accelerating cloud adoption, standardizing deployments, improving reliability, and enabling self‑service infrastructure delivery at enterprise scale.

You will own the technical direction for our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), define engineering standards that multiple product teams build on, and drive the shift toward GitOps, DevSecOps, and SRE practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise DevOps and Platform Engineering roadmap.
• Establish the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) vision, architecture, and adoption model.
• Define engineering standards, reference architectures, and the enterprise automation strategy.
• Design reusable, multi‑tenant CI/CD frameworks and pipeline templates.
• Establish the GitOps operating model, including repository strategy, promotion flows, and environment management.
• Build self‑service deployment and infrastructure provisioning capabilities for product teams.

Reliability & Observability

• Define the enterprise observability architecture across metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
• Standardize monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting frameworks and instrumentation guidelines.
• Drive SRE adoption — SLI/SLO definition, error budgets, incident response, and operational excellence.

Security & Compliance

• Design the DevSecOps architecture and embed security controls across the delivery lifecycle.
• Implement policy‑as‑code and compliance automation.
• Standardize secure software delivery practices, including secrets management, artifact integrity, and supply chain security.
• Partner with Azure, AWS, and GCP platform teams on landing zones, governance, and shared services.
• Drive platform modernization and migration initiatives.
