Job summary

Quest Global in Bangalore (Whitefield) is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer on-site to strengthen CI/CD and automation capabilities. The role focuses on building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines with Groovy, and optimizing GitLab CI/CD workflows for scalable delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of hands-on Python automation, Shell scripting, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, plus familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS. Immediate to 15 days notice period preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripting.
• Solid knowledge of Shell scripting for system automation.
• Practical expertise in GitLab CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
• Understanding of security practices in CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline development: Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy for build, test, and deployment automation.

• Automation scripting: Write efficient Python and Shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and system operations.
• Infrastructure integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate infrastructure as code practices.
• Monitoring & troubleshooting: Ensure system reliability, debug pipeline failures, and optimize performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and operations to streamline delivery.
• OS deployments: Work with new OS releases and deploy the same through automation
