Job summary

Hiver is hiring a DevOps 2 Engineer to manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS, deploy via ArgoCD, and support infrastructure needs. You will handle datastores like Elasticsearch and RDS, and implement GitOps across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in DevOps/SRE, strong Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS experience, plus scripting and CI/CD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in SRE/DevOps or similar.
• Strong Linux fundamentals.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog/CloudWatch.
• Grafana experience is required.
• CI/CD setup experience (GitHub Actions) is a must.
• Experience integrating AI into DevOps workflows is a plus.
• ELK stack experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

What will you do?

• Create and manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes through ArgoCD
• Manage multiple datastores - Elasticsearch, RDS, DocumentDB, etc
• Provision infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform preferably)
• Manage queuing systems - RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Architect solutions as per engineering teams' needs- Solve scalability issues with current infrastructure
• Provide support to engineering teams
• Implement GitOps across the organization

Key Requirements

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years of experience in SRE Operations / System Administrator / DevOps role
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and operating system fundamentals
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS)
• Scripting knowledge (Python / Bash)
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog / CloudWatch
• Experience with Grafana is a must
• Experience working with a CI/CD setup is a must (GitHub Actions)
• Experience with integrating AI into DevOps workflows will be an advantage.
• Experience with the ELK stack will be an advantage
