Vlink seeks a DevOps/SRE Engineer with strong expertise in QE processes, observability, automation, and DevOps practices. You will drive QA/QE tooling adoption and build scalable observability solutions.

Hands-on Grafana experience and ability to evaluate when to use Grafana or a custom solution are essential. Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, QE, and Engineering to improve reliability and visibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps/SRE experience.
• Strong experience with Grafana and observability dashboards.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting and APM.
• Experience building custom monitoring solutions via APIs and data stores.
• Understanding QE/QA processes and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Observability dashboards for performance insights.
• Work with Grafana for monitoring, visualization, alerting, and dashboards.
• Evaluate whether Grafana or existing tools fit needs or if a custom solution is needed.
• Develop custom observability solutions using APIs, data stores, telemetry, and monitoring tech.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, QE/QA, and Engineering teams to improve reliability and visibility.
• Drive adoption and standardization of QA/QE tools and automation frameworks.
• Support automation initiatives across testing, monitoring, deployment, and operations.
• Integrate monitoring solutions with DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, metrics, and reporting for proactive issue identification.
• Analyze monitoring data to enable troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Continuously evaluate emerging tools, including AI-driven observability.

We are looking for a DevOps / SRE Engineer with strong expertise in QE processes, observability, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should be capable of driving the adoption of QA/QE tools, supporting automation initiatives, and building scalable observability solutions.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Grafana and observability platforms, while also possessing the ability to evaluate when an existing tool is fit for purpose versus when a custom solution leveraging APIs, databases, or other data stores would provide greater flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Observability dashboards to provide actionable insights into system and application performance.
• Work extensively with Grafana for monitoring, visualization, alerting, and dashboard development.
• Evaluate observability requirements and determine whether Grafana or existing tools are sufficient or a custom solution should be developed.
• Develop custom observability solutions by leveraging APIs, data stores, telemetry, and other monitoring technologies where required.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, Engineering, and QE teams to improve system reliability, performance, and visibility.
• Drive the adoption and standardization of QA/QE tools and automation frameworks.
• Support automation initiatives across testing, monitoring, deployment, and operational processes.
• Integrate monitoring and observability solutions with existing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop meaningful dashboards, alerts, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to identify system/application issues proactively.
• Analyze monitoring data and provide actionable insights for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies, particularly those supporting AI-driven observability and automation.

• Good scripting/programming knowledge such as Python, Shell, or similar.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues using observability data.
