Job summary

Vlink seeks a DevOps / SRE Engineer with strong QE, observability, automation, and DevOps practices. The role focuses on driving QA/QE tooling adoption, building scalable observability solutions, and enhancing system reliability.

You will work with Grafana and various data stores, evaluate when to reuse existing tools or build custom solutions via APIs, and collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and QE teams to raise visibility, performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps / SRE experience with QE/QA processes.
• Experience with Grafana and observability dashboards.

• Strong QE/QA automation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Observability dashboards for performance insights.
• Work extensively with Grafana for monitoring, visualization, alerting, and dashboard development.
• Evaluate observability requirements and decide whether Grafana or existing tools are sufficient or a custom solution should be developed.
• Develop custom observability solutions by leveraging APIs, data stores, telemetry, and other monitoring technologies where required.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, Engineering, and QE teams to improve system reliability, performance, and visibility.
• Drive the adoption and standardization of QA/QE tools and automation frameworks.
• Support automation initiatives across testing, monitoring, deployment, and operational processes.
• Integrate monitoring and observability solutions with existing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop meaningful dashboards, alerts, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to identify issues proactively.
• Analyze monitoring data and provide actionable insights for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Continuously evaluate emerging tools, particularly for AI-driven observability and automation.

We are looking for a DevOps / SRE Engineer with strong expertise in QE processes, observability, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should be capable of driving the adoption of QA/QE tools, supporting automation initiatives, and building scalable observability solutions.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Grafana and observability platforms, while also possessing the ability to evaluate when an existing tool is fit for purpose versus when a custom solution leveraging APIs, databases, or other data stores would provide greater flexibility.
