Job summary

Flex in Pune is seeking a Business Analyst (Finance / Treasury Applications) to analyze requirements, design functional solutions, and support the implementation of treasury technology solutions to boost efficiency.

You will partner with Finance, Treasury, and stakeholders, translate needs into FRs and user stories, and coordinate UAT, testing, and documentation. A bachelor’s degree in finance or business admin is required, with 3–6 years of experience and Coupa Treasury exposure.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or Techno-Functional Analyst.
• Experience with Finance, Treasury, Banking, ERP or related business applications.
• Experience on Coupa Treasury Management Platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to convert business challenges into practical solutions.
• Experience creating FRs, Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flows, and Test Scenarios.

Job Summary

Business Analyst (Finance / Treasury Applications)

The Business Analyst position will be based in Pune. This is an individual contributor role responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, and supporting the implementation of Finance and Treasury technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

What a typical day looks like:

• Partner with Finance, Treasury, and business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and solution designs.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions to define project scope and objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, developers, QA teams, and vendors to deliver solutions.
• Support application implementation, enhancements, upgrades, and production support activities.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation.
• Prepare project documentation including functional specifications, process diagrams, training materials, and user guides.
• Support data analysis, reporting, dashboard requirements, and business process optimization initiatives.
• Assist in change management, user training, and adoption of new business processes and systems.

The experience we re looking to add to our team:

• Overall, 3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Techno-Functional Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
• Experience working with Finance, Treasury, Banking, ERP or related business applications.
• Experience on Coupa Treasury Management Platform
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert business challenges into practical solutions.
• Experience creating Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flows, and Test Scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing stakeholder sign-offs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of reporting and data analysis tools is preferred.
• Understanding system integration concepts, APIs, and enterprise application environments is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Finance and Treasury processes including payments, cash management, banking operations, forecasting, or financial controls is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit enthusiasm for learning new technologies, business processes, and industry best practices.

Preferred Education:

• A bachelor s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
