Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions is seeking a Layout Designer to join the piping design team for onshore projects. The role focuses on ensuring piping design integrity while managing project execution, including creating unit plot plans and equipment layouts.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical, strong skills in E3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office, plus 5–8 years of related experience and good communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical engineering required.
• Excellent knowledge in E3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation.
• Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts and conceptual layout study.
• Experience in Ammonia and Urea is advantageous.
• 05-08 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills.

Title: Designer - Piping KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world‑class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high‑end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is looking for Layout Designer who possess experience in working within the piping design team on onshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit plot plans/equipment layouts
• Layout optimization study
• Preparation of MTO
• Review of Vendor package

Required Qualification, Experience, & Skills

• Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical
• Excellent knowledge in E3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation.
• Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts
• Good knowledge in conceptual layout study
• Knowledge of support modelling – MDS,
• Special support Drawing generation is preferred
• Good Communication skills
• 05-08 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities
• Experience in Ammonia and Urea will be considered an added advantage.
