Job summary

Assystem India is seeking a skilled Design & Review Expert – Civil with 6 years of civil engineering design, technical reviews and QA experience. You will review drawings, calculations and documents to ensure compliance with codes and project specs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining design records and quality standards.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 6 years of civil design, design checking or technical review.
• Experience in infrastructure, buildings or transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and validate civil designs, drawings and calculations.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, safety and quality standards.
• Review modifications and incorporate comments properly.
• Support design optimization and value engineering.
• Monitor deliverables and timely submission.
• Maintain design review records and technical documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design & Review Expert – Civil with 6 years of experience in civil engineering design, technical reviews, and quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings, design calculations, technical documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and validate civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Conduct technical reviews of design submissions to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Identify design discrepancies, technical issues, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Review design modifications and ensure proper incorporation of technical comments.
• Support design optimization, value engineering, and resolution of technical queries.
• Monitor design deliverables to ensure timely submission and adherence to project requirements.
• Maintain design review records, technical reports, and documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles and design review processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of relevant IS codes, IRC standards, or other applicable design codes, depending on the project.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with relevant civil engineering design software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design, design checking, or technical review.
• Experience in infrastructure, buildings, transportation, or other civil engineering projects, as applicable.
• Ability to independently review technical deliverables and coordinate with design teams.
