Job summary

Robokidz Eduventures Limited (YEA!) invites a Design & Projects Manager to lead every centre from shell to launch. You will own site evaluation, concept design, BOQ, contractor management, and handover, and you will help build the standard YEA!

Centre Design Kit to enable faster openings. The role requires a B.Arch or interior design degree, 2–5 years in commercial fit-outs, proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and rendering tools, and excellent English/Hindi communication.

Qualifications

• B.Arch or interior design/architect degree required with understanding of commercial fit-outs.
• 2–5 years experience in interior design, including end-to-end projects with BOQ drawings and site photos.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp and rendering tools; Excel for BOQs.
• Willingness to travel; based in Pune or willing to relocate; strong communication in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Own site evaluation, feasibility studies and budget estimates before leases.
• Develop concept to GFC drawings and create centre design kit.
• Manage execution: BOQs, quotes, work orders, mall approvals, daily site oversight, handover on date.
• Coordinate budgets and vendor panel across cities.

Young Engineers' Academy (YEA!) is opening hands-on robotics, AI and maker learning centres for children across India — and we need a Design & Projects Manager — an architect or interior designer — who can take a centre from bare shell to launch day.

About YEA!

YEA! is a brand of the Robokidz group, a Pune-based K-12 STEM, Robotics and AI education company. At YEA! centres, children aged 6+ learn robotics, AI, coding, electronics, 3D printing and making by building. We are growing the network across India — company-owned centres and franchise partners.

The Role

You will own every centre end to end — site evaluation, design, BOQ, contractors, site execution and handover — and build the standard YEA! Centre Design Kit that lets us open faster, in more cities, at a predictable cost.

What You'll Own

• Site evaluation — test-fits, feasibility and fit-out budgets before a lease is signed
• Design — concept to GFC drawings; child-safe and on-brand labs, maker zones, studios, reception and parent areas
• Execution — BOQs, quotes, work orders, mall approvals, daily site management and handover on the committed date
• Budget & vendors — fixed budgets, bill checks, rate contracts and a reliable vendor panel across cities
• The YEA! Centre Design Kit — standard layouts, specifications, cost benchmarks and checklists for our own and franchise centres

What You Bring

• B.Arch, or a degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
• 2–5 years of experience, including commercial interior fit-outs (retail, showrooms, experience centres, preschools, cafés or offices)
• At least one or two projects taken end to end — design to handover — with drawings, BOQ and site photos to show
• AutoCAD, SketchUp and a rendering tool (Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion or similar); Excel for BOQs
• Working knowledge of services coordination, materials and current market rates
• Excellent communication in English and Hindi (Marathi a plus)
• A task master and a hustler who stays calm under pressure — multiple sites, tight deadlines, night work in malls
• Based in Pune or willing to relocate; frequent travel across India
