Anika Industries in Ahmedabad seeks a Senior Interior Design Leader to define and uphold the firm’s design philosophy, lead concept development for marquee projects, and ensure design quality from concept to execution.

You will mentor a team of interior designers, engage clients in presentations, translate briefs into compelling narratives, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with leadership on pitches and strategy, guaranteeing innovative, compliant, and on-schedule delivery.

Qualificações

• 10–15+ years of interior design experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record on high-end residential and commercial projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual strength and execution.
• Experience mentoring design teams.
• Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E.

Responsabilidades

• Define and uphold the firm's design philosophy and standards.
• Lead concept development for key projects and marquee clients.
• Review and approve design deliverables from concept to execution.
• Ensure consistency, innovation and high-quality outcomes.
• Present in client meetings as senior design representative.

• Collaborate with leadership on pitches, proposals and strategy.

• Oversee multiple projects, manage timelines and resources.
• Maintain design intent through documentation and site coordination.
• Resolve design challenges during construction and installation.
• Establish and maintain design guidelines, templates and best practices.
• Oversee materials, FF&E, vendor coordination; ensure compliance.
• Improve workflows and tools; support studio planning.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Design Vision

• Define and uphold the firms overall design philosophy, aesthetic, and standards
  
• Lead concept development for key projects and marquee clients
  
• Review and approve design deliverables across all stages (concept to execution)
  
• Ensure consistency, innovation, and high-quality design outcomes
  

Client Engagement & Business Partnership

• Act as a senior design representative in client presentations and key meetings
  
• Translate client briefs into compelling design narratives and solutions
  
• Build long-term client relationships and support business development efforts
  
• Collaborate with leadership on pitches, proposals, and design strategy
  

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the design team (interior designers, junior designers, stylists)
  
• Guide skill development, performance reviews, and career growth
  
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and creative studio culture
  

Project Oversight & Delivery

• Oversee design delivery across multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Partner with Project Managers to manage timelines, scope, and resourcing
  
• Ensure design intent is maintained through documentation, site coordination, and execution
  
• Resolve design challenges during construction and installation phases
  

Design Quality & Standards

• Establish and maintain design guidelines, templates, and best practices
  
• Oversee material selection, FF&E standards, and vendor coordination
  
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
  

Studio & Process Management

• Improve design workflows, review processes, and internal collaboration
  
• Support studio planning, resourcing, and utilization with leadership
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, libraries, and design systems
  

Required Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in interior design, with leadership responsibility
  
• Proven track record leading high-end residential, commercial projects
