The Design Lead (Secondary) is responsible for defining, reviewing, and executing secondary engineering activities for substation and power distribution projects. The candidate should have advanced knowledge of Protection & Automation Systems in substations, be familiar with protection applications, coordinate with vendors for equipment finalization, lead a team of engineers and draftspeople, and ensure quality and timely completion of engineering deliverables within budget.
The candidate should have knowledge of system studies, control & protection requirements, design software proficiency, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. Experience in secondary engineering activities such as schemes, wiring diagrams, SCADA, and control systems is essential, along with knowledge of substation equipment layouts and calculations.
