Naukai E Hire Campaign is seeking an experienced Design Launch Quality Engineer to support new product development and launches in the automotive sector. The role focuses on design and supplier quality, APQP, and hands-on CATIA or Siemens NX usage.

The candidate will collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, design, manufacturing and quality teams to prevent defects, perform root-cause analysis and drive CAPA across the launch lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CATIA or Siemens NX.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities during NPD and product launches.
• Review designs for manufacturability using CATIA or Siemens NX.
• Collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to meet launch milestones.
• Drive DFM and DFA reviews.
• Conduct GD&T dimensional analysis and interpret engineering drawings.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for design, manufacturing and supplier quality issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers to investigate defects and implement CAPA.
• Conduct supplier process audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Validate supplier readiness during new product launches and monitor quality performance.
• Support APQP activities including PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Monitor launch quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced Design Launch Quality Engineer to support new product development and launch activities within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in design quality, supplier quality, APQP, and product launch processes, with hands‑on experience using CATIA or Siemens NX. The role requires close collaboration with OEMs, suppliers, design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful product launches by driving defect prevention, root‑cause analysis, and supplier quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities during new product development (NPD) and product launch phases.
• Review product designs using CATIA or Siemens NX to ensure manufacturability and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with OEM customers and cross‑functional teams to meet launch milestones and quality objectives.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
• Conduct dimensional analysis and interpret engineering drawings using GD&T principles.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for design, manufacturing, and supplier‑related quality issues using structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to investigate defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct supplier process audits and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer‑specific requirements.
• Validate supplier readiness during new product launches and monitor quality performance.
• Support APQP activities, including PPAP submissions, FMEA reviews, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Monitor launch quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in prototype builds, pilot production, and production readiness reviews.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, supplier quality, and design engineering teams to resolve launch issues.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer standards, and internal quality management systems.
