Job summary

Lodha in Mumbai is looking for an experienced interior design professional to lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring value engineering and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with consultants, site teams and clients, prepare briefs and BOQs, and review drawings for on-site accuracy. Strong exposure to MEP/HVAC design is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design.
• 12+ years overall experience with at least 7 years in a design consultancy.
• Ability to manage cost, procurement and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project from Concept development, Designing, Presentations & Overseeing Site Execution.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Site & Clients.
• Prepare project brief and area statement; prepare BOQ.
• Identify consulting Architects and assign scope of work.
• Scrutinize all drawings before sending to site and resolve design issues on site.
• Make regular site visits and ensure design intent is followed at site.
• Keep track of project schedule and possession dates.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales to provide sales plans and allotments; ensure design alignment.

Role Objective:

Analyze Interior designs with significant value engineering, and ensure that high quality design deliverables are delivered to the execution team in a timely manner, enabling the completion of projects as per the projected time and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the project from Concept development, Designing, Presentations & Overlooking Site Execution.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Site & Clients.
• Manage Material Selection Preparing project brief and area statement for a project.
• Identify consulting Architects for a project and providing relevant scope of work.
• Help in Preparation of BOQ.
• Scrutinize all drawings before being sent on site
• Make regular site visits and resolving any design related issues at site.
• Keep track of project schedule and possession dates.
• Prepare of layout drawings and details.
• Co-ordinate with marketing and sales department to provide all necessary information like
  sale plans, allotments, etc.
• Co-ordinate with clients & contractors to carry out work in accordance to design intent.
• Keep all construction drawings and documents in orderly manner.
• Should be able to understand MEP / HVAC Designs.
