Job summary

Traumbuild Andesinfra Solutions is seeking an Estimation & Design Engineer to manage cost estimation and design for premium uPVC and aluminum windows and doors. The role involves preparing detailed BOQs, shop drawings, and pricing for large-scale commercial and residential projects.

You will review house and floor plans, assess technical feasibility, and collaborate with sales, DTQ and production teams to ensure proposals are aligned with client requirements and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD is essential.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in estimation and design.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimations, BOQs, and proposals with accurate pricing for windows, doors and related systems.
• Review plans and recommend suitable window/door solutions based on site conditions and requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, design and production teams to support project planning and execution readiness.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Estimation & Design Engineer to handle design and cost estimation for premium uPVC and Aluminum windows and doors.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare detailed cost estimations, BOQs, and proposals ensuring accuracy and competitive pricing
• Work on shop drawings, BOQ, and costing for doors, windows and customized MS structures for support.
• Understand and ensure usage of right combination of materials (profiles/base materials, reinforcements, glass, hardware and accessories) for a typology while making the quotation
• Must have experience in preparing estimations for big scale Projects(Commercial, Residential etc.) and highly customized retail projects

Design & Technical Recommendation

• Review house/floor plans and recommend suitable doors, windows, sliders, and other systems based on site conditions and customer requirements
• Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions before finalizing designs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with sales, DTQ (Design, Technical and Quality) and production teams to support project planning, client proposals, and execution readiness

Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory skills (Must Have)

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Software tools : Auto CAD
• Relevant experience Minimum 3 years
• Must understand architectural drawings, floor plans

Good to Have:

• Education: MBA
• Software tools: EVA and Orga data , Logi Kal
• Experience in Estimation and Design for uPVC/Aluminum doors, windows, facades, or building systems
• Knowledge of impact of wind loads on specification proposed to customers
