ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with experience in textile machinery, particularly flat-bed printing machines, rotary printing machines, and industrial equipment design.

The candidate will be responsible for 3D modeling, mechanical assembly design, manufacturing drawing preparation, BOM generation, and design modifications using Siemens Solid Edge 2024. The role requires close coordination with senior design engineers, production, fabrication, machining, assembly, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely release of engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Machine & Equipment Design

• Assist in the design and development of textile flat-bed printing machines and rotary printing machines.
• Develop 3D models of machine components, subassemblies, frames, brackets, supports, shafts, rollers, and mounting arrangements.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies based on engineering specifications and senior engineer guidance.

• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for machine assemblies and subassemblies.
• Include part numbers, descriptions, quantities, materials, and specifications.
• Identify standard components, purchased items, fabricated parts, and machined components.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for component identification and specifications.
• Update BOMs following engineering changes and design revisions.

Manufacturing & Assembly Support

• Coordinate with manufacturing, fabrication, machining, and assembly teams.
