Job summary

Egis Road Operation India Pvt. Ltd in New Delhi, India seeks a Design Engineer specializing in MEPF to design and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for diverse building projects.

You will develop MEPF schemes, prepare drawings and specs, and work with architects and engineers to integrate systems while ensuring code compliance. The role requires 5 years in MEPF design, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, BIM experience, and a willingness to travel to site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in MEPF design for building projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations applicable to MEPF systems.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive MEPF designs for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications using advanced CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other team members to integrate MEPF systems into overall building designs.
• Perform load calculations and system sizing to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for design development.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate design concepts to clients and team members.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design reports and technical submittals.
• Implement sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions in MEPF systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems to join our team in New Delhi, India.
