Job summary

Rockwell Automation in India is seeking a Design Engineer-Mechanical to join a dynamic engineering team working on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), MV/LV Motor Control Centers (MCCs), using Creo and CAD tools. The role is based in Pune, Noida, or Bengaluru with a hybrid work model and a 12:00pm to 9:00pm shift.

You will collaborate with global engineers, program managers, and data leads to deliver engineering projects across industries with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and execute assigned projects on time with quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Review requirements with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with Mechanical standards and Rockwell Automation’s practices.
• Serve as a technical expert for MV/LV automation products, providing robust technical solutions and clear communication across stakeholders.
• Work with Team Leader/Sr. Engineer to clarify technical issues and manage work package execution.
• Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve the team's capabilities.
• Provide guidance to engineers and onboard new team members.

Job Description

As a Design Engineer-Mechanical. You will be part of a dynamic engineering team based in Pune/Noida/Bengaluru, working on product engineering of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), MV/LV Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and, utilizing the Creo and CAD tools. Your day will involve collaborating with global engineers, program managers, data leads, executing engineering projects across various industries, and ensuring high-quality delivery with great customer satisfaction. You will report to the Team lead and It’s a hybrid work environment working in 12:00pm to 9:00 pm shift located in Pune/Noida/Bengaluru - India.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver & execute the assigned projects on time with good quality / cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction
• Work with Internal and External stakeholders to review requirements that comply with Mechanical standards and Rockwell Automation’s engineering practices, ensuring successful project outcomes ensure successful project outcomes.
• Serve as a technical expert for MV/LV automation products, providing robust technical solutions, addressing queries, and ensuring smooth information flow across stakeholders
• Work with Team Leader/Sr. Engineer to clarify technical issues and work package execution.
• Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team’s capabilities.
• Provide guidance to engineers when required. Train and onboard new engineers to the team.

Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
