Qualifications

• Diploma/BE Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in mineral processing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical drawings, diagrams, and plans using CAD software and other drafting tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand their design concepts and technical specifications.
• Interpret and implement engineering design concepts, sketches, and drawings into detailed mechanical drawings and diagrams.
• Prepare and revise technical drawings, specifications, and procedures according to established standards and guidelines.
• Ensure that all drawings and diagrams are accurate, complete, and comply with design requirements and specifications.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOM) for mechanical components and systems.
• Review and evaluate technical drawings, designs, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct on-site visits to review and measure existing installations and structures.
• Provide technical support to engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all drawings and designs.

A Mechanical Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, diagrams, and plans for mechanical systems, products, and components.
