Job summary

Atkinsrealis in Bengaluru, India seeks a Landscape Irrigation Design Engineer to support the design and development of irrigation projects. You will work with BIM teams to design networks, pipelines, valves, and control systems, and ensure compliance with international codes and standards.

The role requires 2-4 years of irrigation experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and WaterGEMS, and strong English communication.

Atkinsrealis is seeking a motivated Landscape Irrigation Design Engineer to support the design and development of irrigation/ wet utility team. To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Your role

• 2-4 years of experience in the Landscape Irrigation.
• Experience of working in the Irrigation / water Industry.
• Positive Attitude and eagerness to learn and use new irrigation/ water related design software’s, tools and processes for automation and digital efficiency as per the project and business requirement.
• Familiarity with Middle East / BS or similar international Codes of Practice
• Hands on experience of various software’s – Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks and WaterGEMS
• Good ability to use Irrigation / water related design software’s, tools and processes for automation and digital efficiency.
• Good understanding of various design standards and its application in the Landscape and Irrigation industry.
• Bachelor’s degree/Master's degree in Engineering from an institute of repute.
• Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to brief project team on them.
• Good written and verbal English language communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
• Experience of major Infrastructure projects at feasibility and detailed design stages.
• A team player and work in collaboration.

About you

• Perform flow calculations and water demand analysis for landscape irrigation systems.
• Assist in preparing design reports and technical documentation.
• Assist and develop irrigation specifications based on project requirements and standards.
• Prepare and maintain valve schedules.
• Support the creation and validation of hydraulic models for irrigation networks.
• Plan and design irrigation network routing, including pipelines, valves, and control systems.
• Coordinate with BIM team for design integration.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
• Develop Concept, Preliminary, Detailed design, related calculations and drawings.
• Involve in clash analysis, resolution and work on federated 3Dmodels
• Able to perform good self-checks. And support in team development, skill enhancement.
• Apply Atkins Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).
