Job summary

Goken India seeks Design Engineer II with Automotive Plastics experience to drive CATIA-based layout design and packaging for mobility systems.

You will develop layouts in CATIA, optimize part packaging to meet performance targets, and explore cost-reduction opportunities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

BE/BTech in Engineering and 5-7 years of IP/console design experience, along with strong communication, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum BE/B-Tech in Engineering and 5-7 years of console or IP design relevant industry experience.
• Experience using 3-D modeling software tools (CATIA V5 or CATIA V6).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems.
• Develop Layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging while ensuring that those parts achieve performance targets.
• Expertise in CATIA - Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.
• Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs
