Job summary

Goken India is seeking a Design Engineer II with Automotive Plastics experience using CATIA. You will design layouts for mobility systems and develop packaging layouts to meet performance targets using CATIA tools.

The role requires a BE/BTech with 4–7 years of experience, CATIA V5 or V6 expertise, and strong written and verbal communication. You will work on 3D modeling tasks and explore approaches to reduce design and part costs while maintaining quality, in our on-site India operations.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in engineering required with 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 or CATIA V6 and 3D modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop layout for mobility systems using CATIA.
• Create packaging layouts to meet performance targets.
• Utilize CATIA Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Drafting & Assembly workbenches.

• Develop layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging while ensuring that those parts achieve performance targets.
• Expertise in CATIA - Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches.
• Search new ways to increase overall efficiency, utilize up-to-date technology, and reduce design and parts costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum BE/B-Tech in Engineering and 4-7 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience using 3-D modeling software tools (CATIA V5 or CATIA V6).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
