Job summary

Bosch Group in India is seeking a product design engineer to execute BU-specific design for customers based on defined standards. The role requires hands-on experience in product design and simulation and working knowledge of CAD tools.

The candidate will contribute to DFMA/DFMEA activities, localization, and series topics, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions and reliable designs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in product design/simulation.
• Basic knowledge on product design, design calculations & simulation.
• Good proficiency with CAD software (preferably UG‑NX), GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost effective design solutions for customer requirement based on set guidelines (both during Acquisition stage and product development stage).
• Participate customer discussions during alignment meetings; document experience gained during design tenure.
• CFT support: provide necessary design support/solutions during DFMA, DFMEA, localization, series topics, benchmarking, fixtures designs.
