Responsibilities

  • Develop and design engineering solutions for fixtures, workstations and mechanical systems based on project requirements.
  • Create 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using Creo, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure proper fit, function and quality of components and assemblies.
  • Design fixtures and ergonomic workstations aligned with manufacturing needs and ergonomics standards.
  • Support assembly process planning by ensuring designs are practical, efficient and easy to assemble.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for smooth project execution and review/validate prototypes.
  • Review and improve existing designs for cost reduction and performance.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation including BOMs, drawings, calculations and revision records.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers as required.
  • Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting and prototype validation to ensure robustness.

Design Engineer for Fixture Design & Workstation Design

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities Develop and design engineering solutions for fixtures, workstations, and mechanical systems based on project requirements. Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Creo, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure proper fit, function, and quality of components and assemblies. Design fixtures and ergonomic workstations in line with manufacturing needs and applicable ergonomics standards. Support assembly process planning by ensuring designs are practical, efficient, and easy to assemble. Select suitable electrical and mechanical components such as motors, VFDs, sensors, and IoT-based system elements as per application requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, sourcing, and project engineering for smooth project execution. Review and improve existing designs for cost reduction, performance improvement, and manufacturability. Prepare and maintain design documentation including BOMs, drawings, calculations, and revision records. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers when required. Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and prototype validation to ensure robust and reliable design output. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and company design practices.
