Cyient Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on Creo experience to join our engineering team. You will work on casting component design, large assemblies, Surfacing, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Strong communication and ability to read complex drawings are essential, with 3D modeling, Windchill PDM, and manufacturing drawings creation as core tasks.

Competenze

• B.Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with minimum 60% aggregate.
• BE: 3-5 years / DME: 4-6 years in Heavy Equipment / Automotive / Agricultural Equipment Design.

Job Description:

Qualification & Experience:

• B.Tech (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with minimum 60% aggregate
• BE: 3-5 years / DME: 4-6 years in Heavy Equipment / Automotive / Agricultural Equipment Design

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Creo
• Expertise in:
  • Advanced Part Modeling & Surfacing
  • Large Assembly Management
  • 3D Modeling & Detailing
  • Production & Machining Drawing Creation

Strong Knowledge In:

• Casting component design & development using Creo Surfacing
• Casting processes (Sand Casting, HPDC, LPDC)
• GD&T as per ASME Y14.5
• Windchill PDM (Workspace creation, Check-in & Check-out)

Key Competencies:

• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Capable of independent execution with minimal supervision
• Good communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills
