Job summary

AGCO is seeking a detail-driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Pune-based team. You will model in Creo, create 2D drawings with GD&T, and support ECN workflows to ensure accurate, manufacturable designs.

You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines, manage CAD data in Windchill, and contribute to product lifecycle documentation while maintaining design quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design with PTC Creo.
• Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and drafting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with Windchill or similar PLM tools.
• Good communication skill required.

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Design Engineer.

We are seeking a detail-driven and technically proficient Mechanical Design Engineer with intermediate experience in Creo modeling, drawing creation, and ECN processes. This role is critical in supporting product design and lifecycle management activities, ensuring engineering accuracy, manufacturability, and documentation compliance throughout the development process.

Your Impact

• 3D CAD Modeling: Create and update detailed 3D models and assemblies using PTC Creo, adhering to internal design standards and project requirements.
• 2D Drawing Creation: Generate accurate 2D drawings from 3D models, applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to define part features and critical tolerances.
• Design Revisions: Modify existing models and drawings to reflect design changes, performance enhancements, or manufacturing updates.
• ECN Management: Prepare and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to document revisions, coordinate stakeholder approvals, and ensure implementation across systems.
• Data Management: Utilize Windchill PLM to control CAD files, maintain version history, and manage design workflows and document traceability.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design with PTC Creo. ·
• Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and drafting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with Windchill or similar PLM tools.
• Good Communication skill required.
