Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Validation Engineer with extensive experience in FEA, system simulation, and virtual product development. Expert in Siemens Simcenter Amesim for 1D system modeling, parameter definition, model calibration, performance evaluation, and system optimization. Proven capability in developing hydraulic, thermal, electro-mechanical, and control-oriented models, performing parameter sensitivity analysis, correlating simulation results with physical testing, and driving data-based design decisions. Strong background in model validation, system performance assessment, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Knowledge / Experience in finite element modeling, structural mechanics, fatigue, thermal, and dynamic analysis using ANSYS Workbench would be preferable.

This is a cross-functional supporting role requiring close collaboration with product design, manufacturing, testing, and compliance teams. This role demands a holistic engineering mindset, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience in physical testing, data correlation, and design optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, testing, compliance, and product management to ensure that machine platform structures meet the highest standards of product reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Your Impact
  • Develop and validate complex 1D system models using Siemens Amesim for hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems, including system architecture definition, component parameterization, and operating scenario setup.
  • Conduct model calibration, tuning, and correlation activities using vehicle/component test data, design specifications, supplier information, and engineering calculations to achieve accurate system performance prediction.
  • Execute system-level simulations and engineering analyses under various operating conditions, duty cycles, and environmental scenarios, including sensitivity studies and Design of Experiments (DOE) to identify key performance drivers.
  • Support controls and simulation automation activities through Amesim and MATLAB/Simulink co-simulation, while automating simulation workflows, parameter sweeps, and result post-processing using scripting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership by supporting virtual verification and product development, generating technical reports, presenting simulation results to stakeholders, and mentoring junior engineers.
Your Experience And Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent. Master would be preferred
