Qualifications

• Knowledge of bridge design principles and transportation standards.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination protocols and ISO 19650.
• Proven ability to lead BIM teams and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication across disciplines.
• Experience with project management tools and documentation systems.
• Awareness of Indian construction standards preferred.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior BIM Designer specializing in bridge and transportation infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead the development of comprehensive Building Information Models for complex bridge and transportation projects, ensuring seamless coordination across all disciplines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and innovation. You will be instrumental in driving BIM strategy, mentoring junior team members, and delivering cutting‑edge design solutions that optimise project outcomes.

• Develop and manage detailed BIM models for bridge and transportation infrastructure projects using industry‑leading software and best practices
• Coordinate with structural engineers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure clash‑free, integrated models and resolve design conflicts
• Perform advanced 3D modelling, visualisation, and analysis to support design optimisation and constructability reviews
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and documentation procedures across projects
• Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings, identifying and resolving conflicts before construction
• Lead BIM implementation strategies and mentor junior designers on modelling techniques and project requirements
• Prepare comprehensive BIM deliverables including models, drawings, schedules, and coordination reports
• Analyse design data and provide recommendations for cost and schedule optimisation
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure BIM objectives align with project goals
• Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry standards in transportation and bridge design

What do we need from you

• 8+ years of professional experience in BIM design and modelling, with a minimum of 5 years focused on bridge or transportation infrastructure projects
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks or equivalent BIM software
• Demonstrated expertise in 3D modelling, clash detection, and multi‑disciplinary coordination
• Strong knowledge of bridge design principles, structural systems, and transportation infrastructure standards
• Experience with BIM coordination protocols, standards, and best practices (ISO 19650 or similar frameworks)
• Proven ability to lead BIM teams and mentor junior staff members
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines
• Experience with project management tools and documentation systems
• Familiarity with Indian construction standards and transportation infrastructure requirements (preferred)
• Knowledge of quantity take‑off, cost estimation, and schedule integration through BIM (preferred)
