Job summary

JobItUs in Ahmedabad, Gujarat seeks an engineering designer to develop new products, components and assemblies per customer or internal requirements. You will create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and prepare manufacturing drawings with design documentation.

You will modify existing designs based on feedback and production needs, coordinate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams, and support prototype development, testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products, components, and assemblies as per customer or internal requirements.

• Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and design documentation.

• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams for design feasibility and product development.
• Conduct design calculations, feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analysis as required.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation of new products.
• Visit customer or project sites as required to understand technical requirements and resolve design-related issues.
