Job summary

MagnaKraft Automation seeks an Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of design or engineering experience in manufacturing or automation in Pune. You will develop automation solutions, including conceptualization, prototyping, and integration of PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and IoT for cost-efficient production.

You will prepare designs, specs, and user manuals, conduct testing and validation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, standards compliance, and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of design or engineering experience in manufacturing/automation.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and machine learning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions from concept to prototype.
• Designs, schematics, and technical specifications for automation projects.
• Test, debug, and validate automation systems for reliability and performance.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop automation solutions, including conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping automated systems.


• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and IoT to create seamless automation solutions.


• Analyzes existing workflows and implements automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


• Prepare detailed designs, schematics, technical specifications, and user manuals for automation projects.


• Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance validation to ensure reliability.


• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and IT teams to implement automation projects effectively.


• Ensure all automation systems meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and smart manufacturing.


• Experience in machine learning.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.


• Knowledge of SPM (Special purpose machine) & material selection.


• Knowledge of GD&T and in depth understanding of manufacturing processes.


• In-depth knowledge of PLC-based automation systems, including scope of programming and integration.


• Understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and control systems.
