AS AN DESIGN ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
Perform engineering calculations for HVACR systems, including thermodynamics, valves, heat exchangers, and flow rates.
Design HVAC systems using CAD tools, from single-line diagrams to complete packages.
Develop 3D models in NX, prepare detailed drawings, and generate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Support lab teams with 3D modeling and drawing requirements.
Maintain engineering documentation in Teamcenter.
Apply basic knowledge of low-voltage control panel wiring diagrams (automation) as an added advantage.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design and CAD.
Strong understanding of HVACR systems and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Proficiency in NX, Teamcenter, Draftsight / AutoCAD.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret OEM part information and maintain clear documentation.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Experience in 3D HVAC system design and detailed engineering.
Familiarity with automation and electrical wiring diagrams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to document project activities, meeting minutes, and task assignments.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
