Job summary

Sureflo Techcon in Mumbai seeks an experienced fabrication design engineer to prepare detailed drawings and GA layouts for fabrication projects. The role includes coordinating with production and quality teams and ensuring documentation is revision-controlled.

The candidate will create fabrication and production drawings, maintain drawings, and participate in design reviews to support project execution. Strong reading of drawings and coordination skills required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 36 years of experience in fabrication design.
• Experience in preparing fabrication and production drawings.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings based on project requirements.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, sheet metal, and structural fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with BOM preparation and material estimation.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
