Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a reputed automobile client in Kolar, India. The candidate will work closely with customers and suppliers, be involved in localization and quality validation of engine components, and support mass production preparation. A BE in Mechanical Engineering and knowledge in CAD systems is required. This role offers a chance to negotiate with Japanese partners and enhance production processes.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Pro/E or similar CAD tools knowledge.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Co-operative work with customers and suppliers.
• Collaboration with Sales/Quality/Purchase/Production Engineering Departments.

Job Description

1. Co-operative work with customers & suppliers.
2. Co-operative work with Sales / Quality/Purchase/Production Engineering Dept. & Japan Side
3. Localization & quality /function /durability validation for all engine component products
4. BMC for competitor's engine components.
5. Commission work from Japanese Development Dept.
6. Negotiation with customers, suppliers & Japan side regarding engineering issues & development schedule
7. Support for mass production preparation of engine components

Special Skill / Knowledge

1. Mechanical Engineering & Material (Metal, Resin & etc.) basic knowledge.
2. Knowledge of design drafting with PRO E or other CAD system
3. Ability to understand system products & functional products (actuation, performance & etc.)
