Job summary

SrinSoft Inc. in Chennai, India seeks a skilled Design Engineer (2+ years) to develop 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor. You will drive complex structural steel and conveyor-related designs and automate tasks via iLogic.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, 2+ years of Inventor experience, and knowledge of Vault. Experience with fabrication drawings, BOM, and PDM/PLM is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years of design experience in 3D modelling and drafting.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with fabrication drawings and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop and manage complex assemblies for structural steel and conveyor-related equipment.
• Generate fabrication drawings, weldment drawings, and assembly documentation.
• Configure and maintain Inventor iLogic rules to automate repetitive design activities and improve efficiency.
• Create and update Inventor templates, standards, and design automation tools.
• Collaborate with design engineers to implement engineering changes and product improvements.
• Review models and drawings for manufacturability, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Support BOM creation, maintenance, and validation.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with PDM/PLM processes.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer (2+ Exp) to support the development of 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Autodesk Inventor and have a solid understanding of structural steel design, fabrication practices, and bulk material handling equipment, particularly conveyor systems

• Create and maintain 3D part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop and manage complex assemblies for structural steel and conveyor-related equipment.
