Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. requires an experienced brake systems engineer with 6–9 years of hands-on design, development and evaluation of brake components for conventional and Hybrid/EV vehicles.
The role involves finalizing brake specifications, layout and packaging using UG CAD, conducting DFMEA/DMFEA studies, benchmarking, and coordinating with brake component suppliers to enable bench and vehicle tests. Strong collaboration and clear technical communication are essential.
Design, Development and Evaluation of Brake system parts (Conventional, Hybrid/ EV)
6~9 Years
Experience in Brake calculation & spec finalization of conventional and Hybrid/EV vehicles brake system. Benchmarking, Lay-outing and packaging using CAD (UG), preparing and conducting digital mock-up, DR and DMFEA study, discussion with brake component supplier, Bench & vehicle level test knowledge.
Automobile or Auto Ancillary (Brake related Company)
Will be responsible for Brake spec calculation & finalization, part design (Booster TMC, iBooster, Caliper Assy, Disc, Rear Brake, Drum, Parking Lever & cable, Drum & Disc EPB , Wheel Speed Sensor harness, EPB Harness , Brackets, Hybrid and Electric vehicle parts) , lay-outing, part checking & holding technical discussion with component supplier.
Facilitate the component development and evaluation in scheduled manner. Project may range from new model design, model face-lift, improvement activity, design projects etc.
Should have hands on experience of spec finalization, lay-outing/packaging of Brake system & awareness about brake
Ability to work on CAD tool like UG
Ability to work hands on with Brake system parts.
Ability to understand & explain the technical specification to supplier and facilitate smooth development of project/process
Should have passion for automobile and should be aware of latest automobile trends and technologies.
