SYSTRA India invites applications for a Design Approval Co-ordinator on the Ahmedabad RLDA redevelopment project. Candidates should have 12+ years post-M.Tech, 8+ years in railway projects, and 6+ years in a similar position, with IIT/NIT preferred and ISO 9001/14001 compliance awareness.

Qualifications

• M.Tech in Structural Engineering, IIT/NIT preferred.
• Total 12+ years post-M.Tech experience; 8+ years in railway projects; 6+ years in a similar position.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and solve problems.
• Self-motivated with leadership and influence without authority.
• Strong leadership; capable of leading a team and troubleshooter.
• Ensure compliance with Systra Group policies, ISO 9001/14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Review, coordinating & expediting design submissions, approvals and clearances for disciplines and release timely drawings.
• Ensure there is no site delay due to absence of drawings, details or decisions.
• Track and maintain record of changes in design.
• Coordinate design approvals with Employer and EPC Contractor, Proof checking consultants.
• Highlight critical design issues and address them with Principal Designer discussions.
• Serve as Design Coordinator for quick decisions within timeline and contract conditions.
• Assist Principal Design Coordinator.

We are seeking applications for the position of Design Approval Co-ordinator for Project “Redevelopment Project of Ahmedabad Railway Station and construction of associated infrastructure, RLDA

Missions/Main Duties

The Design Coordinator/ Approval shall:

• Review, Coordinating & expediting the design submission0s, approvals and clearances for said
• disciplines and release timely of drawing submissions. Ensure that there is no delay of work at site due to absence of drawings, details, or any decisions.
• Track and maintain record of changes in design.
• Coordinate design approvals with Employer and EPC
• Contractor, Proof checking consultants.
• Highlight critical issues in design management and address them with discussion with Principal
• Design Coordinator for quick decisions as per stipulated timeline and contract conditions.
• Assist Principal Design Coordinator.

Profile/Skills

• Education qualification – M.Tech From Structure Engineering preferable from IIT/NIT
• Years of experience – Must have overall 12 Year Experince post M.Tech, 8 Year Experince in Railway Project, 6 Year Experince in Simillar position
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
